A Spectacular Evening with Coventry’s Youth Operatic Group – Me and My Girl at the Albany Theatre
Last night, I had the pleasure of photographing Coventry’s Youth Operatic Group’s fantastic production of Me and My Girl at the Albany Theatre. What a show it was! From the moment the curtain went up, the energy, enthusiasm, and sheer talent on display were nothing short of spectacular.
The cast delivered a first-rate performance, full of humour, heart, and wonderful characterisation. Every scene was bursting with life, and it was clear just how much hard work and dedication had gone into bringing this classic musical to the stage. The choreography was sharp, the vocals were strong, and the entire company should be immensely proud of what they achieved.
Of course, no musical is complete without its orchestra, and the musicians in the pit were absolutely superb. Their performance provided the perfect foundation for the evening — vibrant, polished, and perfectly in sync with the cast on stage.
It’s always a joy to capture moments like these — the laughter, the emotion, and the pure joy of live theatre. Congratulations to everyone involved for putting on such a memorable performance.
