There are few better ways to spend a spring day than at a show jumping competition, and today’s unaffiliated event at Weston Lawns certainly delivered. With classes ranging from a welcoming 30cm right up to an impressive 1m, it was a fantastic showcase of riders and horses of all levels enjoying their time in the ring.
The weather played its part beautifully, with glorious sunshine lighting up the arena for most of the day. That said, there was still a noticeable nip in the air whenever the sun slipped behind a cloud — a reminder that early-season events can keep you on your toes! Fortunately, the bright conditions made for some stunning photographs, capturing every determined approach, careful stride, and celebratory finish.
It was great to see such a supportive and enthusiastic atmosphere throughout the day. From first-time competitors tackling the smaller courses to more experienced partnerships flying over the bigger fences, there was plenty to admire and plenty of moments worth capturing.
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our big yellow bus — it’s always a pleasure to meet riders, families, and supporters in person, and we truly appreciate your continued support.
