There are some events in the calendar that feel like old friends, and the Appaloosa Horse Club UK (ApHC UK) National Show at Moreton Morrell is definitely one of them.
We’ve been photographing the National Show for many, many years now, and it remains one of those events that we genuinely look forward to each year. There’s always a great atmosphere, plenty happening in the arena and, of course, no shortage of wonderfully distinctive Appaloosas to photograph.
Over the years we’ve got to know plenty of familiar faces — both two-legged and four-legged — and it’s always good to catch up with everyone while trying to capture those special moments from the show.
The Big Yellow Bus Returns!
Our big yellow photo bus also made its second appearance at the National Show this year.
Having the bus back out at events means competitors can come aboard, escape the British weather for a few minutes and browse through the photographs from the day on our viewing screens. It’s been great to have it back in action and becoming part of the familiar event setup.
