Today’s event took us to the fantastic Weston Lawns Equestrian Centre for the Atherstone Pony Club’s Easter show jumping competition—and what a brilliant day it turned out to be.
From the moment we arrived, everything was set for a perfect day of equestrian sport. The weather truly couldn’t have been better—clear skies, plenty of sunshine, and just the right conditions to showcase both horse and rider at their very best. It made a huge difference not only for the competitors but also for capturing crisp, vibrant photographs throughout the day.
One of the standout aspects of the event was the atmosphere. The competitors were an absolute credit to Atherstone Pony Club. Every rider we encountered was incredibly polite, respectful, and supportive of one another, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable to photograph. It’s always a pleasure to work at events where sportsmanship and friendliness shine through as much as the competition itself.
The show jumping itself was full of great moments—determined rounds, brilliant clears, and plenty of proud smiles. We’ve worked hard to capture those special memories, whether it’s a perfect jump, a focused approach, or a celebratory moment after leaving the ring.
