am delighted to announce that I have partnered with Martin Grahame-Dunn from Images2Inspire to deliver a series of event photography training courses aimed at photographers who are looking at moving into the world of Event Photography.
There are two separate day-long courses and a shorter evening course, all being held in Leamington Spa.
Unlike other courses, these sessions are not aimed at trying to sell extra products to a paying audience. Instead, they will be packed with useful information, hints and suggestions about what works and what doesn’t work in the world of event photography.
Martin and I will both be presenting at these talks. Martin will give his expert advise on topics such as posing and lighting, whilst I will be sharing my knowledge of the workflow required to get the photos from the camera and into the hands of the customers in as short a time as possible.
The courses will not only focus on Social / Prom photography; we will also include topics such as sporting events, motor sport and equestrian. We will even share our knowledge on delivering green screen (chromakey) photography solutions in high-pressure, high-volume environments.
Event Photography Training Details
The first day-long course is entitled “The Essentials of Event Photography”, and it is being held on Sunday, 24th February. More information can be found on the booking page. Thecourse costs £149 per person, but if you book before the 10th February the price is only £109!
Evening course
The evening course, entitled “An Introduction to Event Photography” is on Wednesday, April 24th. More information can be found on this booking page. The evening session is priced at £40 but if you book before 10th February it is a staggering £27.50
