Photographing the Lychgate Equestrian Pony Club Camp is always something of a highlight of our summer, and this year was no exception.
We spent the day capturing the young riders and their ponies taking part in a lively mixture of show jumping and cross-country. There was plenty of action, determination and teamwork, along with more than a few impressive leaps and enthusiastic gallops!
It was an absolute scorcher of a day, but the heat certainly did not dampen anyone’s enthusiasm. The children kept smiling, worked incredibly hard and were unfailingly polite throughout the day. They were a real pleasure to photograph and a credit to their families and the equestrian centre.
The staff also deserve a special mention. They were incredibly supportive and encouraging, helping every rider to build their confidence, overcome any nerves and enjoy their time with their ponies. The positive atmosphere around the camp was wonderful to see.
