The Weston Lawns Equestrian Spring Young Horse Show has kicked off in spectacular fashion, and what a start it has been. Spanning four exciting days, this event always promises a showcase of emerging talent, and this year is no exception.
Day one greeted us with near-perfect conditions. Clear skies, great light, and just enough warmth made it an absolute pleasure to be out capturing the action. Weather like this not only lifts the atmosphere for riders and spectators alike, but it also creates ideal conditions for photography—crisp images, vibrant colours, and those fleeting moments frozen beautifully.
Our team has been hard at work across both the John Wells Arena and the Weston Arena, ensuring no moment goes unnoticed. From the elegance of young horses finding their rhythm to the precision and partnership on display, we’ve been there to document it all. Covering multiple arenas allows us to provide a comprehensive collection of images, giving competitors plenty of opportunities to find that perfect shot.
For those attending the show, our big yellow bus—situated conveniently beside the collecting rings—has been a hub of activity. It’s the perfect place to stop by, view your images, and purchase your favourites while the excitement of the day is still fresh. There’s something special about seeing your round captured and being able to take that memory home straight away.
We know not everyone has time to browse during the day, so we’re also uploading all images to the website at the end of each day. This ensures every rider has the chance to revisit their performances and choose images at their convenience.
