Weston Lawns Unaffiliated Jumping February 2026

As the 2026 equestrian season kicks off, we were back where we love to be – ringside, camera in hand – for our first event of the year at Weston Lawns.

A True British Start to the Season

If ever there was a way to christen the season, this was it! Cold, wet and thoroughly miserable weather greeted riders, horses and spectators alike. The kind of day where you question your life choices… until the first combination flies a fence and reminds you exactly why you’re there.

Despite the relentless drizzle and biting wind, the standard of riding at today’s unaffiliated showjumping was fantastic. From confident clear rounds to determined partnerships tackling bigger tracks, there was no shortage of brilliant moments to capture. Rain-speckled boots, steaming horses, focused expressions – it all made for powerful, authentic images that truly reflect the grit and spirit of grassroots showjumping.

Thank You for a Brilliant First Show

Events like these always remind us how tough and passionate the equestrian community is. It would have been far easier to stay home in the warm, yet the lorry park was full and the rings were busy all day. That dedication deserves to be celebrated – and photographed.

For us, this marks the official start of our 2026 season, and we couldn’t be happier to be back out doing what we love.

Here’s hoping the weather improves as the season progresses… but whatever the forecast, we’ll be there to capture every stride, smile and clear round.

See you at the next one!
