It was another busy Sunday at Weston Lawns Equestrian Centre today, Sunday 18th October 2026, as we returned to photograph the latest unaffiliated show jumping competition.
For the most part, the weather was reasonably kind to us. It stayed largely dry, which is always a bonus at this time of year. Unfortunately, nobody had told the famous Weston Lawns wind to behave itself! That biting breeze certainly made its presence felt throughout the day, reminding everyone that autumn is well and truly here.
Despite the chilly conditions, there was plenty of show jumping action to photograph, with horses and riders tackling their courses and giving us lots of opportunities to capture some great images.
The Big Yellow Bus Was Open for Business
As usual, our big yellow photographic bus was open throughout the day, allowing competitors and their supporters to come aboard, warm up a little, browse their photographs and purchase prints to take home.
It's always good to catch up with our regular customers, as well as welcome some new faces onto the bus.
If you didn't get a chance to view your photographs at the event, don't worry. All of today's unaffiliated show jumping photographs from Weston Lawns are now available to view and purchase online.

Your Free Facebook Photographs
As always, we'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who purchased photographs from us on the bus today.
If you bought prints onsite, you'll find complimentary digital copies of your purchased images on our Facebook page, ready for you to tag, share and enjoy.
It's our way of saying thank you for supporting Simon Coates Photography.
Important Notice: Print Orders and Delivery Dates
A quick reminder for anyone planning to order photographs over the next few weeks.
Monday 19th October 2026 is the final day for print orders before our temporary break in order processing.
After this date, orders requiring physical production, including photographic prints and other printed products, will not be processed until Monday 16th November 2026.
You can still browse our galleries and place orders online during this period, but please bear in mind that these orders will be held until processing resumes on 16th November.
Small and medium digital file orders are unaffected and will continue to be processed as normal.
If you're hoping to receive prints before the break, please make sure you place your order by the end of Monday 19th October.
